COMMISSION A GUAVARIZED ORIGINAL

Every Guava De Art piece starts the same way — a character, a story, and too much colour to stay inside the lines. Commissions are how that world gets made for your wall, your business, or your shelf. I'm a self-taught artist from Antigua and Barbuda, now creating from Kyoto, Japan. My work — a fusion of Pop, Street and Urban Contemporary art I call GUAVARIZED — is held by collectors in the United States, the United Kingdom, Japan and Canada. When you commission a piece, you're not buying a print of somebody else's moment. You're getting an original, made for you, that nobody else will ever own. Now accepting commissions from winter through early summer. I only take on a limited number at a time, so each piece gets my full attention — when the list is full, it's full until the next season.

Original canvas paintings

A one-of-a-kind GUAVARIZED canvas for your home, office or collection. Bring me a character, a photo, a place, or just a feeling — or let Teeth and the crew take over and surprise you. Canvas prices (USD): 15 x 20 inches — $900 · 20 x 30 inches — $2,400 · 30 x 40 inches — $3,200 · 40 x 50 inches — $4,000. Another size in mind? Ask — I'll quote it.

Murals

Walls are my favourite canvas. Murals for homes, restaurants, bars, shops, studios and offices — anywhere that needs to stop being a blank wall. Based in Kyoto, available across Japan, and open to travelling for the right wall. Priced per project after a site chat — tell me the wall, the place and the idea, and I'll quote it.

Art toys & sculpture

Custom art toys and sculpted pieces, designed and modelled by hand — your character idea GUAVARIZED in 3D, or one of my own characters made exclusively for you. Priced per piece — every toy is different, so each is quoted individually. Each piece is unique — no moulds, no repeats unless we agree otherwise.

Illustration & custom artwork for brands

Original illustration for businesses, products, events and campaigns that want a look nobody can mistake for anyone else's. Priced per project. Commercial use terms agreed up front, in writing.

Saw something you liked?

If a piece on the ARTWORK page caught your eye, ask about it below — some originals are available, and if the one you want is sold, a commission is how you get yours.

How it works

1. Tell me your idea. Fill in the form below — what you want, how big, where it will live, and your budget range. No idea is too strange; strange is the starting point here. 2. We talk, then I quote. I'll reply within 1–2 days with questions, a price and a timeline. No obligation. 3. Book your slot. A 50% deposit books your commission and I start sketching. 4. Approve the sketch. You see the concept before paint touches canvas. Two rounds of sketch revisions are included, free. 5. I create it. You'll get progress photos as your piece comes alive. 6. Final payment & delivery. Canvases and toys ship worldwide from Kyoto, carefully packed. Murals are revealed in person — the best part.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How long does a commission take?

Most canvases are finished in 2–3 weeks or less from sketch approval. Murals and art toys are scheduled per project. If you have a deadline — a gift, an opening, an event — tell me up front and I'll tell you honestly if it's possible.

How much does it cost?

Canvas prices are listed above by size, from $900 (15x20) to $4,000 (40x50). Murals and art toys are quoted per project. I'll always confirm the full price before you commit to anything, and the deposit to book your slot is 50% of that quoted price.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes. Originals ship worldwide from Kyoto, Japan, packed for travel and tracked. Shipping is quoted with your commission.

Can you paint my own character / logo / photo?

Yes — send it with your enquiry. Turning your idea into a GUAVARIZED original is exactly what commissions are for. For brand and commercial work, usage rights are agreed in writing before we start.

Who owns the artwork?

You own the physical piece, forever. I retain the copyright in the artwork itself (that's standard for artists), which means I may photograph it for my portfolio — and prints of your piece are only ever made with your permission.Your wall is blank. Let’s fix that.
